Neymar Jr named Ligue 1 Player of the Month
Paris Saint-Germain attacker Neymar Jr won the UNFP Ligue 1 Player of the Month award for January.
The Brazil international was elected with 62% of the votes on tropheesunfp.com, and finished ahead of Reims Yunis Abdelhamid (20%) and Lyon forward Moussa Dembélé (18%). The Paris No.10 was named for the first time this season and for the second time in his career after December 2017. He is the second player from Paris to receive the award this season after compatriot Thiago Silva last October.
