Neymar Jr : "I miss my teammates"

While football is suspended, the Paris Saint-Germain n°10 spoke to us about his feelings in confinement.

Since the goal he scored on March 11 against Borussia Dortmund, and the celebrations with his teammates following the Parisian qualification for the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, Neymar Jr hasn't played a single game with the Rouge et Bleu.

Just like the rest of the team, the Brazilian international was stopped in his tracks by the Covid19 health crisis, leading to all football being suspended and confinement.

In an interview given to his official website, Neymar Jr didn't hide his how impatient he is to get back to playing football in the capital: "Not knowing when to come back is making me anxious. I want to play and I want to compete. I miss the club environment and my PSG teammates. I really miss football a lot! I'm sure the fans also want to see everybody back on the pitch as soon as possible. I hope the decision will be made known soon."

Neymar Jr's press service also detailed the daily routine for the forward: "The building has a large space for cycling, a football pitch, a gym and equipment that can be used as long as social distancing regulations are applied," explained his entourage. "The routine of the athlete consists of breakfast, a first training session, rest and then all day long activities that mean expending energy. In certain cases, the specific and general training sessions are divided into two periods," explained the communiqué, while the 28-year-old, like the entire squad, has a made to measure training programme supplied to him by Paris Saint-Germain.
