Medical update before Nice
The medical update on 30 November ahead of the game against Nice concerns Lionel Messi, Leandro Paredes, Neymar Jr, Mauro Icardi, Georginio Wijnaldum, Ander Herrera et Julian Draxler.
- Lionel Messi and Leandro Paredes did not participate in today's training session due to symptoms of gastroenteritis. An update will be given tomorrow morning.
- Neymar Jr is suffering from a sprained left ankle with ligament damage. An unavailability of 6 to 8 weeks is expected. A new update will be made in 48 hours to clarify his development.
- Mauro Icardi has resumed training today.
- Georginio Wijnaldum, who is progressing well, will resume training on Thursday.
- Ander Herrera will resume training at the end of the week depending on progress.
- Julian Draxler resumed running today and is continuing his treatment at the Ooredoo Training Centre for an expected return to training within 2 to 3 weeks.
