Luis Enrique: 'We'll be up against a very good team'

On the eve of the UEFA Champions League Matchday 6 clash against Borussia Dortmund at the BVB Stadion Dortmund on Wednesday 13 December (21:00), Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique answered questions from the media. Excerpts.

MEDICAL UPDATE

"Gonçalo Ramos won't be at training today because he had a bit of flu last night. We'll see how he feels tomorrow."

THE MATCH AGAINST BVB

"We've scored in all our UEFA Champions League matches. Tomorrow, we want to follow that up with a win, by playing a very complete match, to finish in top spot in the group. We'll be up against a very good team and that's going to be difficult. But the most important thing is to stick to our plan and not be under any pressure. We'll try to deal with it as best we can to win the game."

MOTIVATION

"The big clubs play big matches every month. The players all want to play and you can see that in training. We always have the same objectives. For matches like this, there's no need to motivate the players. You have to calm them down and control their passion. We know what's at stake in this match and we're going to work with the experience we have."

THE ABSENCE OF OUSMANE DEMBÉLÉ

"I'm pleased with the performance of the players who played on the flanks against Nantes. Football is a team sport. It's a responsibility we have to share. With the squad I have in Paris, it's always easier to replace players who aren't available. A player's absence will never be an excuse, and you won't hear me complaining about that."

A HIGH-LEVEL GROUP

"I'm concentrating on the positives. And the positive today is that in a very difficult group, we have our destiny in our hands and we can finish in top spot. So we want to win this game tomorrow, and we will. Logically, in a group like this, the differences between the teams are small. You can see that we're down to the final matchday, and only Borussia Dortmund have already qualified."
