Luis Enrique: "We showed that we are a team"
Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique and winger Ousmane Dembélé spoke to PSG TV after the 4-1 win over FC Lorient at the Stade Yves Allainmat in their rescheduled Ligue 1 Round 29 clash on Wednesday 24 April.
LUIS ENRIQUE
"That was the objective of this match. We wanted to be competitive and we made quite a few changes. We were able to give a lot of players minutes. I think they were all at a good level, as were the youngsters who started the game. We showed that we are a team and that we have several options, and I'm very happy with that. Now we're waiting to see if Monaco win their game, and if they do, we'll be able to play for the title at home on Saturday, which would also be good.
Obviously, the aim is to get minutes, but we also have the Champions League, the league and the Coupe de France to aim for. I need all the players to be ready and I'm trying to give them as many minutes as possible. I think the team has shown that it's ready to play in any competition."
OUSMANE DEMBÉLÉ
"We got the job done. There are still a few matches left - or maybe just two hours - and one match to be champion. We did the work today in Lorient. It was a beautiful evening and I felt good. We managed the match, scoring after 20 or 25 minutes. I felt good on the pitch, I feel good in this team, and I'm happy. We have to stay focused, we stay focused to get the title in Ligue 1 and the Champions League is coming quickly. We're trying to win Ligue 1 quickly and then look ahead to Dortmund."
