Luis Enrique: "It's great that our fans are enjoying it"

Paris Saint-Germain's coach and player of the match spoke to PSG TV after the Red and Blues' superb 3-0 victory over AC Milan on Matchday 3 of the UEFA Champions League group stage.

LUIS ENRIQUE

"I'm happy, very happy! It started with mistakes, with a lack of confidence. In the first 20 or 25 minutes, I'd say. We were full of doubt. Kylian's goal calmed us down. In the second half, I think we were better than our opponents.
In a match at this level, you can't dominate the whole game. We didn't suffer defensively, but we weren't precise. So instead of being in our opponents' half, we were more in our own half. In the second half, I think the players were liberated by the goal. We had more confidence and the game started with Ousmane's goal. It's a shame it was disallowed, but after that, the team continued to create chances. In the end, it was a great win.

It's great to see the Parc des Princes like this and for our supporters to enjoy it. Now we have to think about the league, but as far as the Champions League is concerned, we have to think about winning in Milan, about giving everything as if it were a final."

Warren zaïre Emery

"It's true that we didn't start the game well, but we were able to communicate with each other, talk to each other, tell each other what was wrong and do the right things so that in the second half we came back in the best possible way.
My performance? I do it naturally. I think that at my age, you don't necessarily realise what you're doing and I just enjoy playing with my team-mates and giving everything on the pitch.
The emotions? It's something extraordinary. You can see it every time my team-mates score or after the matches with the fans. I have a reaction that I can't explain, it gives me something extraordinary and I think that's the most important thing.
The second leg? We're building our confidence. We're going to work hard this week and enjoy it, which is always better."
