Paris to face Le Mans in Coupe de France last 16

Paris Saint-Germain have been drawn away to third-division side Le Mans FC in the last 16 of the 2024–2025 Coupe de France, with the tie set to take place in early February.

Having won the competition on 15 previous occasions (1982, 1983, 1993, 1995, 1998, 2004, 2006, 2010, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020, 2021 and 2024, a national record) and made their way past RC Lens (1-1, 4-3 on pens) in the last 64 and FC Espaly (4-2) in the last 32 of this year's edition, the Ligue 1 leaders will now travel to National 1's current 11th-placed team, whose route to the last 16 has seen them successively beat Ambrières-Cigné Football 5-0, Vannes OC 2-1, SC Locminé 4-0, FC Marmande 47 7-0 and Valenciennes FC 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw.

The two clubs have also crossed paths with each other in this competition before, when Les Rouge et Bleu earned themselves a 2-0 win after extra time in the quarter-finals of the 2010–2011 edition on 2nd March at the Parc des Princes.
