Match in numbers

All the numbers that matter from Paris Saint-Germain's 2-0 Coupe de France win.

PARIS LOVES THE COUPE

Winners in Le Mans, the holders and 15-time record winners (1982, 1983, 1993, 1995, 1998, 2004, 2006, 2010, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020, 2021 and 2024) are through to the Coupe de France quarter-finals for the 30th time in 40 attempts. Only Olympique de Marseille (39) and Girondins de Bordeaux (31) have reached this stage of the competition more often.

Tuesday's win means Luis Enrique's men are unbeaten in 24 games domestically (Ligue 1, Coupe de France, Trophée des Champions) this season, winning 18 of them.

The capital club has only enjoyed a longer unbeaten run of the sort twice: in seasons 1985-1986 (26) and 2015-2016 (34).

WELCOME BACK PRESNEL!

Coming on for the final nine minutes, Presnel Kimpembe made his long-awaited return to competition.

He had not played in 709 days since facing Marseille in Ligue 1 on 26 February, 2023. Welcome back, Presko!

THE ROUGE ET BLEU ON THE ATTACK

The Parisian forwards were again on show.  The opening goalscorer, Désiré Doué, has nine goal involvements this season in all competitions (four goals, five assists), which is his best tally since he made his senior debut for Stade Rennais FC in 2022/23.

Gonçalo Ramos laid on the first goal, meaning he now has six goal involvements in seven Coupe de France ties (5 goals, 1 assist). Since he made his debut in the competition in 2023/24, he has more goal involvements in the Coupe de France than any other player at the club.

The scorer of the second goal, which brought up 200 competitive strikes under Luis Enrique, Bradley Barcola has 10 goal involvements in nine competitive outings with Paris Saint-Germain in 2025 ( 5 goals, 5 assists).  Across the calendar year, the France international is the only player in Europe's top five leagues to have at least five goals and five assists in all competitions.
