Kylian Mbappรฉ's France join Argentina in the final!

Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappé's France beat Morocco 2-0 in the semi-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar.

Kylian Mbappรฉ was once again a starter in the team's decisive victory over the Atlas Lions. The French team managed to make the difference thanks to a first goal scored by Theo Hernandez in the opening minutes (1-0, 5'). Late in the game, it was the French striker Randal Kolo Muani who sealed his team's victory with his first goal in a French shirt (2-0, 79'). This victory allows Didier Deschamps' men to reach the final of the competition, where they will face Lionel Messi's Argentina on Sunday 18 December at 16:00 (in France, 18:00 in Qatar).

However, for the Parisian fullback Achraf Hakimi and the Moroccan national team, the remarkable Qatari adventure ended just short of the final. The Paris Saint-Germain player and his teammates finished first in their group ahead of Croatia and Belgium, before eliminating Spain after a penalty shoot-out in the Round of 16 and then Portugal thanks to a 1-0 victory in the quarter-finals.

With this heroic performance, Morocco became the first African team in history to reach the semi-finals of a World Cup. And that's not all, as the Atlas Lions will play a final match this Saturday at 16:00 (in France, 18:00 in Qatar) against Croatia to try to finish in third place and make even more history.
