Having already been nominated in this category last season, the 19-year-old has confirmed his meteoric rise in the Rouge et Bleu shirt by winning the title of Ligue 1's Best Young Player for 2024-2025. Explosive, clinical, brilliant: Ousmane Dembélé wins Ligue 1's Best Player award

After arriving at Paris Saint-Germain in July 2023, Ousmane Dembélé enjoyed a successful first season, finishing among the top five players in Ligue 1 and making the league's Team of the Season. In the 2024-2025 season, he scored 21 goals and provided six assists in 28 league appearances. For the first time, the 27-year-old striker was named player of the season. Tactician, leader, unifier: Luis Enrique voted Ligue 1 Coach of the Year

At the helm of a team that sparkled throughout the season, Luis Enrique left his mark on the 2024-2025 campaign, not least by guiding his charges to a new record: the longest unbeaten away run in the history of Europe's five major leagues, with 39 matches unbeaten. This total surpasses AC Milan's 38 matches between 1991 and 1993. On a personal note, after winning the Trophée des Champions in Doha last January (1-0 against Monaco), the Spanish coach won his second French league title in two seasons, having conceded just four defeats to French clubs, for a total of 81 official matches played since his arrival at the club in July 2023.

Defenders, midfielders, strikers: Nine Rouge et Bleu names win the League's Team of the Season

The capital club was the best represented, with nine Parisian players voted into the Ligue 1 all-star XI for the 2024-2025 season: Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes and Willian Pacho in defence; Désiré Doué, João Neves and Vitinha in midfield; and Bradley Barcola and Ousmane Dembélé in attack. This is a new record for the capital club, surpassing the eight players in the 2016 team of the season, and makes Paris Saint-Germain the first club in the history of the UNFP Trophies to have as many representatives in the team of the season.
