Keylor Navas : "We're very motivated"
The Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper answered questions from supporters and spoke about several subjects in episode 5 of ALL at Home.
From Costa Rica, it was in his garden that the last line of the Rouge et Bleu defence answered questions from the journalist Anne-Laure Bonnet and from Sebastian and Jimena, two Costa Rican fans who won the ALL competition. The chance for Navas to share his news: "Everything's going well! My family is well, and that gives me peace of mind. In order to stay fit I am doing a huge amount of running... more than I have at any time in my life! Keeping in good physical condition is important. I run every day. I've also spent more time than usual with my family. As a footballer that's what we miss sometimes: being able to spend the weekend with the family and to play with the children."

Both his moral and his fitness are sky high: even if the daily life of the Paris number 1 has of course been shaken up since the start of the health crisis: "I'm missing everything! I've been playing football for a lot of years... I'm in the professional world and I've been training every day since I was 15. Stopping for such a long time is strange to live through. You need to adapt, hope that things improve and continue to make the most of life." A determination shared by all his teammates: "When we get back to playing again, I think we're going to be quickly up to speed because we're all in very good physical shape. Us goalkeepers do specific training and I'm in good condition. It will help me be a cat on my goal-line again!"

The interview also allowed the Costa Rican international to talk about his first French league title: "Winning this title is very beautiful. We would have liked to have finished off the league season but we weren't able to do because of this difficult period. It's another trophy in my career, my first in France. I hope there will be lots more! We have just one goal: win, win, win." A thirst for victory that has not been quenched for the three-time UEFA Champions League winner: "We're ready to fight in this competition. I know that my teammates are very motivated. They're working a lot at home because they know how important the competition is to us. It's important for the team, the club and the supporters. We're conscious of our responsibilities so we must do the maximum we can at home in order to work on our physical shape and to keep our concentration."
