Keylor Navas: 'I'm very happy here'

The Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper spoke of his joy and ambition at signing his contract extension with the club from the capital.

Keylor, you've just signed a contract extension... Congratulations! 
"Thank you very much! I'm very happy here. I thank god for enabling me to sign an extension at Paris Saint-Germain. The club believes in me and I'm delighted at that. I feel great at the moment. I'm trying to be as professional as I can. I take care of myself, I try to have a balanced diet. It helps me a lot. All of that has helped me stay at the top level and I hope it can stay that way for many more years."

What state of mind are you in at the moment?
"I've found a great dressing room with incredibly talented teammates here and we all want to achieve our goals. I think that the club has always helped us.There's a real mutual support between the club and the players. We're really happy here."

How are you and your teammates preparing for the run in?
"I think that we have the ability to win all competitions. I'm hungry for trophies, I want to win everything. As a footballer I think we're in a really important moment. We want to play and share it with our fans. I want to help the team and do the best I can while I'm here. The most important thing is to give all we've got. And then we'll see what the future holds."

Another massive game awaits you against Manchester City. What do you think will be the key to the game? 
"I think that the key is to play as a team, respect the opponents and knowing that we need to be at our best if we want to win. They're a great team. We've already knocked out some big teams but every game is different and if we take them lightly it won't go well. Quite the opposite, we need to be better to reach the final and that's what everyone wants more than anything."
