Keylor Navas: 'A really great challenge'
After signing for the capital club from Real Madrid, the Costa Rica goalkeeper is looking forward to life with Paris Saint-Germain.
Keylor, how do you feel about joining Paris Saint-Germain?
"It's a really great challenge for me, a great city, a really big club. I'm very happy and I'm looking forward to being part of Paris Saint-Germain, because I know it's a great club and that we can achieve great things."
What will you bring to the team?
"I come with great humility, as always, but also with a great desire to work and help my teammates, to do my bit. I love working hard and helping the team as much as I can."
You have a lot of experience of big games. What does it take to succeed in those moments?
"You always have to prepare well for big games. For me, it's crucial to train well and do your best. I think that squad unity is also very important, to be totally convinced you're going to win and to enjoy yourself. You have to enjoy being on the pitch, with the fans, and to train and make everyone happy."
Do you speak any French?
"I don't speak French yet, but I really want to learn. We have already talked about working with a teacher, and I think that in a short time I'll be able to speak French."
Do you know the city of Paris?
"We've come to Paris several times on holiday and now it's our home. It's a really beautiful city, with a history, and we are very happy to have the opportunity to live here."
