Of the 18 clubs competing in Ligue 1 this season, Lorient are the only one whose stadium Kylian Mbappé hasn't yet scored in.

With a total of eight goals scored in the two teams' competitive encounters with each other, Ibrahimović is also Les Parisiens’ top scorer against Lorient, putting him ahead of both Neymar Jr and Pauleta (five goals scored each).
Paris have won nine of their 11 competitive fixtures away to Lorient since 2011, falling to just one draw and one defeat in that time.
Ten players have played for both clubs: Fabrice Abriel, Adil Aouchiche, Grégory Bourillon, Louis Cardiet, Fabrice Fiorèse, Kevin Gameiro, Ludovic Giuly, Christophe Jallet, Patrice Loko and Stéphane Pédron. This is the joint-longest streak of its kind in the history of the French top flight, as well as being the outright longest streak of its kind in the history of the capital club, ahead of the 18-game unbeaten away streak between 2015 and 2016.
Paris are also unbeaten in their last 24 games either at home or away in the league, having registered 17 wins and seven draws in that time. This run is the fourth-longest of its kind over the course of a single season in the capital club's history, behind the 27-game unbeaten runs in 1993–1994 and 2015–2016 as well as the 26-game unbeaten run in 1985–1986.

This was just the fifth competitive fixture ever for Les Rouge et Bleu, who have now played a total of 2,616 matches.
