Hugo Ekitike loaned to Eintracht Frankfurt
The French forward signs for Eintracht Frankfurt on loan until 30 June 2024 with an option to buy.
Hugo Ekitike joined the Stade de Reims Youth Academy in 2013 and signed his first professional contract with his childhood club in the summer of 2020.
He made his professional début for the club from the Champagne region on 25 October 2020, against FC Lorient, on Matchday 7 of Ligue 1 2020-2021. After a period of six months (from January until June 2021) in Denmark on loan at Vejle BK, Hugo Ekitike returned to Stade de Reims. At the end of the 2021-2022 season, the forward had scored 11 goals in 26 matches across all competitions for his club.
In July 2022, the France U20 international (6 appearances) signed for Paris Saint-Germain, making his début against Clermont Foot 63 (5-0) on Matchday 1 of Ligue 1. Hugo Ekitike scored 4 goals and picked up 4 assists in 33 encounters and helped the club to lift its 11th Ligue 1 title in 2023.
