From Paris to Lisbon: A busy day for the Parisians!

On the eve of their third European match of the season, away to Benfica, the Paris Saint-Germain squad trained in the morning before travelling to Portugal for Wednesday's game.

Tuesday began in the French capital with a morning training session, followed by a team lunch for the entire squad.

Then it was off to the airport for the flight to Portugal where Les Rouge et Bleu will take on Benfica on Matchday 3 of the UEFA Champions League group stage. Night was falling on the Portuguese capital when the squad arrived, but there were still some loyal supporters to welcome the team to its temporary home.

Coach Christophe Galtier and Danilo Pereira then headed straight to the Estadio da Luz for the traditional pre-match press conference. It was the opportunity for the Portuguese defender, a product of the Benfica academy, to discuss the volcanic atmosphere that awaits his team inside the 65,000-seater stadium at kick-off.

The Estadio da Luz will also bring back plenty of memories for the Paris squad. It was here that they took part in the Final 8 of the 2020 UCL, that saw the French champions go all the way to the final. All that, however, will be forgotten when the two sides do battle on Wednesday night, kick-off at 21:00 CET.
