Mbappé is the club's top European goalscorer
Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 1-1 draw with SL Benfica on Tuesday 11 October at the Parc des Princes in the fourth round of the UEFA Champions League group stage. Mbappé is now one goal ahead of Edinson Cavani as the club's all-time top scorer in European competitions.
The red-and-blue No 7, who has scored 31 goals in 48 UEFA Champions League matches since joining Paris in 2017, is now ahead of his former team-mate, who scored 30 goals in 54 games in the competition between 2013 and 2020.
