Draw against Chambly

Paris Saint-Germain had to settle for a draw against Chambly, this Saturday 17 July at the Ooredoo training centre, in their second friendly of the season (2-2).

In their second pre-season game, the club from the capital faced Chambly this Saturday 17 July, at the Ooredoo training centre. For this game, Mauricio Pochettino lined up in a 4-2-3-1 with no fewer than 7 academy player at kick off, and gave Idrissa Gueye the captain's armband.

The Parisian team were quite impressive in the first half, and Mauro Icardi opened the scoring from the penalty spot (1-0, 19').

Against a determined Chambly side, the Parisians conceded an equaliser just after the hour mark, Guillaume Heinry scoring Chambly's opener (1-1, 57').

It took the Parisians less than five minutes to react. Xavi Simons, who had already scored and set up a goal against Le Mans on Wednesday (4-0), was on target once more, played in by Ismael Gharbi who also scored three days earlier (2-1, 64').

The visitors were able to equalise at the end of the game, through Boubacari Doucouré (2-2, 89').
