Direction Europe!

Paris Saint-Germain kick off their continental challenge on Tuesday with Juventus the visitors to the Parc des Princes in the UEFA Champions League.

It promises to be an explosive reunion between the Parc des Princes and the Champions League! On the agenda is a rare but not unprecedented meeting between Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus, who have not faced each other in a competitive game since 1997.

With six victories in seven competitive games this season, Paris are already at cruising altitude, and the capital club has netted 24 Ligue 1 goals in their first six games to earn a share of the European record with Manchester City (2019/20) and Bayern Munich (2020/21). Christophe Galtier's men are unbeaten in 16 games in all competitions, and have won their last four home games in the Champions League.

captain Marqui's MESSAGE

Each detail can make the difference in big games. Everyone - players, staff and fans - has an invaluable role to play, and who better than our captain to talk about this crucial combination? "Everyone feels the role of the fans, including our opponents. We see the strength of our supporters, of our stadium. It's an extra strength for us. It helps us to boost our motivation and our desire. It's very important to have the fans with us at the Parc. It's the best means of achieving our goals. The players need the staff, the staff need the players, and the players need the supporters."
