Debut for Carlos Soler
The Paris Saint-Germain midfielder made his first appearance in a competitive match for the club from the capital on Matchday 1 of the UEFA Champions League group stage and the 2-1 victory over Juventus, on Tuesday 6 September at the Parc des Princes.
Having arrived this summer from Valencia, the Spain international (10 caps, 3 goals) came on in the closing stages of Les Rouge et Bleu’s impressive win.
In making his debut, the club from the capital’s number 28 became the 490th player in the history of the club, and the 11th Spaniard to play with the Paris Saint-Germain colourson his shoulders.
