Back to work!

This Monday 5 July, the Parisians will be back at the Ooredoo centre for preseason and looking ahead to the 2021-2022 campaign. A quick overview of what awaits our Rouge et Bleu in the next few weeks.

After a tough end to the previous season, many of the Parisians were in action for their national teams, in either l'Euro 2020 or the Copa America 2021. A few of them still are in action and will only join up with the squad later in July. The rest of the players will be back in on Monday to look ahead to the new season.

As usual, the players will go through a number of physical examinations to see their fitness, before being able to get back on the pitch at the Ooredoo training ground.

Despite them all being impatient to get back on the ball, the first few sessions will be focused on physical conditioning, before slowly getting back into the rhythm of being on the ball. There will be friendlies throughout this month of preseason to help the players and staff prepare in the best way possible for the first official encounter in the Trophée des Champions against Lille on 1st August.

Then the club from the capital will play its first game in Troyes, the reigning Ligue 2 champions, on the weekend of 8 August, before welcoming Strasbourg, on 13, 14 or 15 August at the Parc des Princes, for matchday 2 of Ligue 1.
