Antoine Bernede joins Red Bull Salzburg
The midfielder who came through the ranks at Paris Saint-Germain has joined the Austrian club on a permanent deal.
The 19-year-old Parisian signed his first professional contract on 27 June 2016 with the Rouge et Bleu.
After joining the Paris Saint-Germain youth academy in 2012, he was crowned Champion of France with both U17 and U19 teams during the same 2015-2016 season. Antoine was also a regular starter for France’s youth teams from the U16 to U20 age group.
On 4 August 2018 Antoine Bernède lifted his first trophy with the first team, coming on for Thiago Silva during the Champions Trophy 4-0 victory over Monaco in Shenzhen (China). Later that month he made his first two appearances in Ligue 1, against Caen (3-0) and Guingamp (3-1).
In the last three seasons the midfielder played a total of 12 UEFA Youth League matches, scoring 2 goals with the U19 team, reaching the final of the competition in 2016.
