THE RULES
- There are no seeds. Teams can meet opponents they played in the group stage or from the same country.
- The first team drawn will play the first leg at home; they will face the second team, who will have the second leg at home. The procedure will be repeated until all four quarter-final pairings are completed.
- A second draw will take place for the semi-finals. Four balls containing papers marked 'Winners of quarter-final 1' to 'Winners of quarter-final 4' will be placed in a bowl and mixed. The first and second balls drawn will determine the first semi-final match-up. The first ball drawn will determine the home team for the first leg. The procedure will be repeated for the second semi-final.
