5 Parisians in the Ligue 1 team of the season

Five Paris Saint-Germain players were chosen by their peers to figure in the Ligue 1 team of the season for the 2020-2021 season, in the UNFP Awards.

As all the teams played for the final time this Sunday night after the 38th and last matchday, the team of the season was named at the UNFP Awards.

Eleven players were chosen by their peers with none less than five of them being Paris Saint-Germain players.
Keylor Navas, Marquinhos, Presnel Kimpembe, Kylian Mbappé and Neymar Jr were part of a team with Benjamin André and Reinildo Mandaya (Lille), Jonathan Clauss (Lens), Memphis Depay and Lucas Paqueta (Olympique Lyonnais) and Aurélien Tchouaméni (AS Monaco).

A reminder that two Parisians had already won individual awards.

Kylian Mbappé was named Ligue 1 player of the season for the second straight season despite being up against his teammate Neymar Jr, but also great players such as Wissam Ben Yedder (AS Monaco), Burak Yilmaz (Lille) and Memphis Depay (Olympique Lyonnais).

Keylor Navas also won an award for the best goalkeeper in the league. He was up against former Parisian Mike Maignan (Lille), Anthony Lopes (Olympique Lyonnais), Steve Mandanda (Olympique de Marseille) and Benjamin Lecomte (AS Monaco).
