Set up in a 3-4-3 formation, Zoumana Camara's team came up against a side they had beaten 1-0 two weeks earlier. Paris made the early running with Mahamadou Sangaré impressive on the left, but Milan opened the scoring: Alessandro Bonomi's corner headed in by Clinton Nsiala-Makengo (1-0, 8').

An acrobatic Francesco Camarda volley to Emanuele Sala's cross put the hosts two goals to the good (2-0, 10'), and despite the best efforts of Kamil Bensoula, that's how it stayed almost to the break when Rouge-et-Bleu captain Yoram Zague teed up Serif Nhaga to pull one back from point-blank range (2-1, 45+2').

Just after the hour mark, Paris drew level. Substitute Ibrahim Mbaye went down the right before finding Erwan Adonis, who produced an unerring right-foot finish (2-2, 66')

An AC Milan free-kick brought a save from Louis Mouquet before Senny Mayulu fired wide of the target only for the hosts to find a winner in added time: Diego Sia heading home to make it a cruel finish for the Titis (3-2, 90+4').
