The Parc and you: major assets!

On Saturday against Rennes, the Parc des Princes saw the return of its supporters after some of the health restrictions were lifted. The home of Les Parisiens will be full once again for the visit of Real Madrid in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League.

The encounter will of course be rather special for them too. The members of the Paris Saint-Germain Fan Club Madrid who will come and show their passion for the club from the capital. Julien, who manages the group in Spain, will see five of his members travel to Paris on Tuesday evening: "Five members of the fan club will come, I decided not to come this time to be able to allow other fans the opportunity to come. I try to let as many members as possible benefit!"

Julien knows it, this match against Real Madrid will of course be special: "I am feeling a bit of stress, he jokes. All of my Spanish friends support Real. We will need to surpass ourselves both on and off of the pitch. We will sing, we will support the team, whether we are at the Parc or in front of our screen."

Almost two years ago, Paris Saint-Germain played its first match behind closed doors due to Covid, against Dortmund in the second leg of the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League (on 11 March 2020). 24 months later, the fans will return to the Parc for this competition that they await with such impatience, having missed the opportunity to see Barcelona, then Bayern and Manchester City last season. For Julien and the Fan Club, life is also getting back to normal: "The restrictions in Spain were drastic. We were unable to get together with more than 10 people at home... But bit by bit, the Fan Club is getting back to its activities, we have even planned to run our traditional FIFA tournament in March!"

Paris Saint-Germain fans around the world and in the stands of the Parc des Princes, will join together to get behind Les Rouge et Bleu. Against Real Madrid, for this encounter that promises so much, the voice of the Parc and Paris fans will undoubtedly be an extraordinary plus for Les Parisiens.
