PSG Academy South Korea: Amaury Lamure's visit

From 6 to 14 April, Amaury Lamure, the pre-Youth Academy fitness coach, visited the PSG Academy South Korea.

This annual visit to the PSG Academy South Korea is an opportunity to share the training methodology of Paris Saint-Germain, and the club's theoretical and practical values. During the week, Amaury presented the club's playing philosophy to the coaches, and then applied it on the pitch with the players. He was thus able to reproduce typical Paris Saint-Germain training sessions with particular passages of play, and then focus on individual work and awareness exercises.

Amaury Lamure: "I really enjoyed the trip and sharing our working methods with the coaches and the children. I was impressed by the standard: they were very good technically, listened to instructions carefully and were very quick to catch on. The coaches were very focussed on teaching how to control the ball and one-touch play. They were also very focussed on the advice of how to stick to the club's methodology and setting the best example for the kids to follow. The facilities suit the methods taught perfectly."

Amaury visited the centres in GoYang & Geomdan and had the chance to see the PSG Academy Bupyeong U18 team in action to see how the work the coaches have put in all year long has been put into practice on the pitch.

The PSG Academy South Korea opened in September 2021. There are seven centres with some 1000 youngsters benefitting from high-level coaching thanks to the club's expertise.
