Paris Saint-Germain's very own pear juice is back

Yesterday’s home match against Angers saw Paris Saint-Germain launch the third batch of its home-made pear juice. Made from the fruit of 2,800 pear trees at the 2.5-hectare orchard at the future Campus Paris Saint-Germain in Poissy, the juice is served in the Parc des Princes’ hospitality areas.

The pear juice has been made with the valuable assistance of local growers and producers, with Paris Saint-Germain calling on the services of the arborist Bertrand Puel, who carefully tends the trees and harvests their produce. Also playing a vital part is the Pressoir de Normandie, which presses the seven varieties of pears grown at the orchard and bottles the juice at its premises in the village of Grossoeuvre, around 100 kilometres to the west of Paris.

Served for the first time in December 2020, the pear juice has become one of the Parc des Princes’ signature hospitality drinks.

Paris Saint-Germain’s new training centre and academy is taking shape and will open its doors to the men’s first team in summer 2023.
