Paris Saint-Germain x Clown Skateboards celebrate their ongoing partnership

The relationship between Paris Saint-Germain and Clown Skateboards began early in the pandemic, with the idea that both football and skateboarding are good for mental and physical health, and that it is vital to make them accessible to as many people as possible.

This NFT release will reflect the 2 worlds coming together with the aim to support the skate communities through the PSG Endowment fund and Clown In Action. Both PSG and Clown will be donating all the profit they raise with this release to both their individual charities or CIC and work together to maximize the impact of good in skating.

"Paris Saint-Germain and Clown Skateboards share a desire to celebrate the values of passion, fun and solidarity that unite football and skateboarding,” announced Fabien Allègre, Brand Director at Paris Saint-Germain. “Skate culture has always been a source of inspiration and above all a marker of the societal and philosophical decorum of the new generation.

This NFT created by London agency Impossible Brief that we are launching today embodies this spirit, which is shared by both brands. We are building this relationship for the long term and, along with the Paris Saint-Germain Endowment Fund, will ensure that it benefits a maximum number of kids.”

The coming together of large and small sometimes does not mix, but when the mindset is to take what you know and love and share that with people so you can achieve more for a purpose, it seems to level things up. This NFT drop will allow us to feed into our CIC so we can put back into the skate communities,” added Jeff Boardman, Curator at Clown Skateboards.

The curated collection comes in two editions

- A unique NFT edition which will go together with the Rebond x Paris Saint-Germain limited edition art ball signed by the Paris Saint-Germain players, as well as an exclusive print.

- A second NFT edition of 250 including a 50x210 cm print. Priced at $200.

It will be available exclusively on the platform Crypto.com/NFT.

The NFT itself references the worlds of football and skateboarding and two beloved cities Paris and London, with accompanying Easter Eggs referencing specific geographical points relevant to the rich cultural history of the brands.

The soundtrack for the NFT has been specially created by long-time friend of Clown Skateboards, the legendary DJ Zinc who has been at the forefront of breakbeat culture for over 30 years always with his own signature sound.

You might recognize the artist behind the Clown Skateboards’ logo. Yes, it is Banksy and you can read how that came about here. A customize of the logo has been created mixing the icon logo with the PSG icon champions star.

As stated, one of the uniting threads that led to this collaboration was the desire and ability to do good through the respective partners’ PSG Endowment Fund and Clown Skateboard’s community interest company Clown In Action. As such, all profits from primary sales will be donated to the above-named entities. The funds will then be administered through these two organizations in the same collaborative spirit that birthed this venture. They will aim to ease access to skating practice among under-privileged children in France and the UK.
