Paris Saint-Germain celebrates the successful openings of the PSG Academy in Hong Kong and Macau

On December 2 and December 3, Paris Saint-Germain celebrated the inauguration of two new PSG Academies in Asia, in Hong Kong and Macau. The ceremonies, marked by numerous activities, were a great success to the delight of the young academicians, who had the opportunity to interact with club legend, Nicolas Anelka.

The inauguration ceremony of the PSG Academy in Hong Kong, which opened its doors this summer, took place on December 2 at the Christian Alliance International School. As part of the press conference held in the school's auditorium, Selina Lau, Head of China, and Nadia Benmokhtar, Head of Brand Development, discussed the concept of the PSG Academy, which has been continually expanding in Asia since 2018. Its goal is to provide hundreds of young footballers with high-quality training programs delivered by experienced coaches trained by the club.

After taking part in a timeless training session alongside Nicolas Anelka, 130 young players had the privilege of receiving valuable advice from their idol, a former iconic figure of the Club and the French national team, who played for some of the most illustrious European and Chinese clubs. All the families were delighted to keep a souvenir photo of this memorable event.

The following day, an equally festive ceremony was dedicated to the young Macanese academicians, accompanied by their families, for the inauguration of the PSG Academy in Macau. The 30 youngsters, aged from 5 to 13, were delighted to receive the kind and meaningful words of a legend such as Nicolas Anelka, after a fine performance on the Cesar Golf Club field.

Nicolas Anelka: "The PSG Academy is much more than just a playground; it's a genuine field of dreams for these passionate young individuals. Celebrating the opening of the academies in Hong Kong and MacaU was a fantastic experience. It was a pleasure to interact with these future talents and to continue sharing my passion for football."

This weekend of celebrations came to an exceptional conclusion with the live broadcast of the match between Paris Saint-Germain and Le Havre. Gathered at Sofitel Macau, around a hundred guests, including Nicolas Anelka, premium partners of the club, and fan clubs members from all over China, shared the impressive victory of the Club de la capitale (2-0), together.

For several years, Paris Saint-Germain has developed numerous projects aimed at providing unique experiences for its Asian fans. With the opening of these two new PSG Academies, the ties between Paris Saint-Germain and the vast continent only continue to strengthen.
