Paris Saint-Germain and Team New Age (TNA) go full steam ahead on Fortnite in the USA

Paris Saint-Germain Esports and Team New Age (TNA) have teamed up to create the PSG.TNA FORTNITE TEAM. The new outfit will compete predominantly on the North America East server of the Fortnite Champions Series and aims to perform at the highest level of the iconic Epic Games game, which is played by 350 million people worldwide and whose appeal extends far beyond the Esports environment.

Paris Saint-Germain Brand Director Fabien Allègre said: “Five years on from its creation, PSG Esports has taken another step forward. This is our first move on American soil and into the world’s most popular game. TNA has already won the Champions Series five times. We’re joining up with a battle-hardened team and our goal is to work together and go even higher.

Team New Age CFO and Founder Joaquin Delmar said: “This is a historic opportunity for Team New Age. What once started as a project between 3 lifelong friends has now turned into one of the best teams in North America. Partnering up with one of the biggest global sporting brands in the world elevates our ambitions we have as an esports organisation. PSG TNA is the perfect joining of forces to become the premiere, industry leading Fortnite team not only in the Americas, but in the world."

Comprising six professional players from North and South America and Oceania – @MeroFN, @SlickTV_, @TheOliverOG, @MuzFN, @cam1x and @SpeedyND – the team will be based at a dedicated gaming house in Washington and will make its debut in the legendary red and blue shirt in season two of Fortnite Chapter 3. It will begin its bid to win another Fortnite National Champions Series (FNCS) title in spring 2022.
