Nehemiah Fernandez-Veliz joins USL Dunkerque
Centre-back Nehemiah Fernandez-Veliz has signed for Ligue 2 side USL Dunkerque on a permanent transfer.
Born in the town of Stains in the northern suburbs of Paris, Fernandez-Veliz spent his first few years as a footballer at AAS Sarcelles. In 2016, he joined Paris Saint-Germain’s pre-academy before continuing his progression up to the club’s senior academy.
An international with France’s U16s, U18s and U19s, he signed his first professional contract with Les Rouge et Bleu in June 2022.
Over the course of 2022–2023 season, Fernandez-Veliz made 27 appearances in the Championnat U19, scoring one goal, and featured six times in the UEFA Youth League.
