Two weeks after clinching their place in the quarter-finals with a win over Sevilla, Zoumana Camara's men had 90 minutes to qualify for the semi-finals. The U19 coach brought back El Chadaille Bitshiabu, who had been suspended against Sevilla, while Xavi Simons was missing due to a ban.

It took just 11 seconds for the Rouge-et-Bleu youngsters to go in front.  In the very first move of the game, Nathan Bitumazala was stopped en route to goal, but the ball fell to Edouard Michut and he smashed in the opener to make it the perfect start for the hosts (1-0, 1')

The Parisians tried to double their lead. Michut fired just wide from distance (12') while Sekou Yansané also had a great opportunity (26'). Despite their territorial domination, however, they were pegged back just before the break due to a lapse in concentration (1-1, 37').

The Austrian visitors turned the screw after the break, though came up against an alert Lucas Lavallée in the Rouge-et-Bleu goal until he was replaced - due to a shoulder injury - by Louis Mouquet (60').

Salzburg pushed on and got themselves in front 18 minutes from time. The Parisians sought a leveller, but Bitshiabu's pass out from the back was intercepted and led to a third (1-3, 90') that signalled the end of the U19s European adventure this season.
