‘Martin Luther King: La Force de l’Engagement’ exhibition held at PSG Campus
As part of France’s ‘Mois de l’Égalité’ (Equality Month) as well as its ‘Semaine d'éducation et d'actions contre le racisme et l'antisémitisme’ (Week of Education and Action Against Racism and Antisemitism) last month, Paris Saint-Germain continued its relentless commitment to these causes with a series of initiatives.
On 20th March, Paris Saint-Germain’s academy pupils and employees were given the chance to check out an exhibition entitled Martin Luther King : La Force de l’Engagement, with this “strength of commitment” being the event’s key theme.
The schedule for the day included a guided tour for our young players and collaborators, which was led by educators from the event's partner associations, Sportitude and SOS Racisme, as well as a quiz to test and enrich the attendees' knowledge of the exhibition's theme in relation to the values of sport.
The aim was to raise our players' awareness of essential topics including the fight for civil rights and the struggle against all forms of racial discrimination as well as peaceful commitment and non-violent action for equality.
Our youngsters remained faultless throughout the event and demonstrated their interest in the subjects at hand through their discussions, their reactions and their emotions.
All in all, then, this was an inspiring day that fully resonated with the club's values.
