Launch of the Paris Saint-Germain Academy in Kuwait!

This month, Paris Saint-Germain and ARGAN Bedaya have announced the opening of a new Paris Saint-Germain Academy in Sabah Al-Salem, Kuwait. The inauguration was attended by French Ambassador Claire Le Flecher, vice-president and CEO of ALARGAN International Real Estate, Khaled Al-Mashaan, and several French diplomats.

The opening of this brand-new Academy in Kuwait is the high point of an exceptional collaboration between ARGAN Bedaya and the prestigious Paris Saint-Germain Academies. The Club is proud to have set up more than 162 Academies across the globe, spread across 19 countries, and all employing the unique methodology created by Paris Saint-Germain's technical directors, which is followed throughout the Club, from the Youth Academy to the professional teams.

In the PSG Academy, certified coaches - who have all undergone top-level training to optimise player development - will help the new generation to develop their skills. The young players will work hard to achieve their full potential, while having fun and learning the Club's primary values.

The Paris Saint-Germain Academy in Kuwait has indoor and outdoor pitches in the ARGAN Bedaya. The training sessions are football-based and designed for girls and boys aged 4 to 17. Registration for the Academy's first official season opened in September, inciting great interest and high demand.

At the inauguration, Khaled Al-Mashaan, vice-president and CEO of ALARGAN International Real Estate, announced: “The creation of a Kuwaiti branch of the Paris Saint-Germain Academy within the ARGAN Bedaya community in Sabah Al-Salem reflects ALARGAN's commitment to the values of excellence, innovation and renovation, which shine through in all its projects. It embodies our slogan, 'Life as you love it'. We are convinced that the PSG Academy will establish some solid foundations for the development of football teams in Kuwait."

"I am honoured to be here today to attend the launch of the first French football academy in Kuwait," added Claire Le Fleischer, French Ambassador to Kuwait, while expressing her gratitude to ALARGAN. "I am convinced that the PSG Academy Kuwait will make the children aware of their qualities and will encourage them to enjoy sport while striving to reach their full potential."

"Paris Saint-Germain is a brand that is recognised worldwide. Our aim is to lay the foundations for young athletes from across the globe and to create an environment in which they can express themselves through sport. ARGAN Bedaya has supplied top-quality, cutting-edge facilities. We cannot wait to get the season started," announced Fabien Dilem, General Manager for PSG in the Middle East and India.
