Hisense becomes a patron of the Paris Saint-Germain endowment fund
A Paris Saint-Germain partner since 2020, Hisense is taking its commitment to the Parisian club one step further by also becoming a patron of the Paris Saint-Germain Endowment Fund . In pursuing its social responsibility, the consumer electronics and home appliances multinational is donating high-tech equipment to the Paris Saint-Germain endowment fund in support of its non-profit programmes.
On 30 March 2022, Hisense donated a number of television sets to the Paris Saint-Germain endowment fund. Hisense TVs were used at a Cantine Solidaire event at the Parc des Princes, where 200 schoolchildren were served a meal by Alessandra Montagne, the chef at Nosso (a restaurant in Paris’ 13th arrondissement), and enjoyed a day of fun and games at the stadium.
Launched in November 2021, the Cantine Solidaire is a Paris Saint-Germain Endowment Fund charity initiative that distributes food and hygiene products to underprivileged schoolchildren.
Responding to the extension of the partnership, Sabrina Delannoy, deputy director of the Paris Saint-Germain Endowment Fund , said: “We are delighted that the club’s partners are taking an interest in our programmes and are committed to supporting us. It shows that the members of the Paris Saint-Germain family share the same values as us. Hisense are an example for others to follow and we hope we can continue to work together long into the future.”
Cédric Audebert, Vice-President Home Appliances Hisense, added: “As partners of Paris Saint-Germain, we follow the Foundation’s social initiatives very closely. Sport is a means of sharing and expressing solidarity, two values that are essential to us. We aim to show unfailing support to the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation and we urge all companies to come and join us.”
