Claude Makélélé honoured at the Parc
The former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder (118 appearances and 1 goal in all competitions between 2008 and 2011) was invited to attend the game on Matchday 3 of the UEFA Champions League group stage and the capital club's 3-0 victory over AC Milan at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday 25 October.
The former captain of Les Rouge et Bleu took part in the Kick Off show before watching the Parisians' success. The French international (71 caps between 1995 and 2008) won the Coupe de France in 2010 with Paris Saint-Germain, before calling time on his playing career a year later.
He then returned to the capital club between the end of 2011 and 2014 as assistant coach of the first team. As part of the Parisian staff, he won 2 French league titles (2013 and 2014), 1 Coupe de la Ligue (2014) and 1 Trophée des Champions.
