Brazil and Florida win the 2018 Academy Cup

Brazil in the U10/U11 category and Florida's U12/U13 side have emerged triumphant at the fourth Academy Cup at Clairefontaine.

After an intense day of qualifying games that included a visit from Paris Saint-Germain's former player and sporting coordinator Maxwell, the different teams at the 2018 Academy Cup faced off at Clairefontaine on Sunday in the final matches of the competition.

On the menu: deciding which teams in the U10/11 and U12/13 categories will succeed Morocco and Florida as winners of the tournament. Several hundred supporters watched on as the teams went at it in a mini-World Cup atmosphere.

First, Brazil gave them something to cheer by beating France 2-0 in the U10/11 before Florida scored a second successive triumph in the competition, beating their Brazilian counterparts 2-1 in the U12/13 final.

It was then time to hand out the medals and trophies before heading to Paris for a visit of the capital. An unforgettable day will finish with the 200 Academy members heading to the Parc des Princes for the Ligue 1 game between Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco.
