Payne

Nicole Payne was born in Birmingham (Alabama, USA), where she began playing football. After playing for Atlanta-based Concorde Fire, she joined West Virginia University in 2019 and played three seasons with the Montaineers (53 matches, four goals). In 2022, the defender continued her career and her studies in psychology at the University of Southern California. The young full-back first wore the USA jersey in the U15, U16, U17 and U18 squads before being called up to the Nigerian national team in 2021. She has now made two appearances for the Super Falcons. In July 2023, Nicole Payne signed a contract with Paris Saint-Germain that links her to the capital club until 2026.
