Born in Nottingham, England, the goalkeeper played first for West Bridgeford Colts before joining Leicester City FC’s youth academy. After reaching the first team squad, she then joined Nottingham Forest in 2010 aged just 17. But it was at Doncaster Rovers that she made her professional debut a year later before ending the season on loan at Coventry United FC. Following spells at Birmingham City (2012-2014), Bristol City (2014-2016) and Reading FC (2016-2018), she left for Germany to join VfL Wolfsburg. With the German club, she won the German cup in the 2018/19 season.
After a short spell abroad, she returned to England in summer 2019 to sign for Manchester United. In five seasons with the Red Devils, Mary Earps played nearly 100 games and won the 2024 Women’s FA Cup shortly before joining Paris Saint-Germain on 1 July. Named the world’s Best Goalkeeper in 2022 and 2023, she made her international debut in a friendly against Switzerland in 2017 before winning the UEFA Women’s EURO in 2022 and was FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 runner-up in 2023.
