Women's team run riot at Soyaux

Paris Saint-Germain's Women's team won 6-0 against Soyaux at the Stade Camille Lebon in Angoulême on Saturday in their third league game of the season.

After their fine 4-1 UEFA Women's Champions League win at St. Pölten on Wednesday, the Women's team wrapped up a good week in style. Diani started the party on the half-hour mark when she seized onto a poor backpass to open the scoring (0-1, 30'). Bruun could not quite reach Lawrence's cross from the right, but Katoto did at the back post to double the visitors' lead soon after (0-2, 38'). Diani raced onto a Zamanian through ball and sent a shot crashing off the post and into the net to make it three just two minutes later (0-3, 40'). Olivier Echouafni's players were not finished there as Diani crossed and Bruun volleyed home a fourth (0-4, 45+1').

After the restart, Lahmari bent a left-foot shot into the net from the edge of the box (0-5, 58') before Bruun raced clear before chipping in the sixth (0-6, 67e). That's three wins from three to keep the capital club top of the league. Next up, Montpellier on Sunday, 23 September at 15:00CEST at the Stade Bernard Gasset in Week 4's heavyweight encounter.
