Women's team held by Guingamp

The capital club played out a 1-1 draw with their Breton opponents on Sunday.

Three days after reaching the UEFA Women’s Champions League quarter-finals, the Parisians were up against the eighth-placed Bretons on Sunday, looking to clinch a win before the international break.

But the Rouge-et-Bleu were contained by their Breton opponents, and only broke through when Nadia Nadim headed down a Kadidiatou Diani cross and Sara Däbritz fired home (1-0, 50'). But they were pegged back when Paulina Dudek diverted a free-kick into her own goal (1-1, 72').

Despite the draw, Paris Saint-Germain are joint-top of the league on 22 points with Lyon, who beat Montpellier 3-0 on Saturday. The top two will face off in Lyon in their next league game on 16 November.
