Women's team claims the Classique

With 5000 fans present at the Stade Jean-Bouin, Paris Saint-Germain's Women's Team won 4-0 against Marseille in the Sunday sun.

Just across the road from the Parc des Princes at a venue more used to rugby than football, Patrice Lair's side quickly imposed themselves on the visitors. As so often, Marie Katoto took the chance that gave them the lead (1-0, 19'). Just before half-time, she turned provider, pulling a ball back for Diani to double the lead with a shot into the top corner (2-0, 44').

Katoto struck the crossbar in the second half (54') before adding the third from the penalty spot (3-0, 64'). Jennifer Hermoso completed the scoring (4-0, 88') in a win that sees Paris move back into second place following Montpellier's goalless draw at Bordeaux before they face Fleury in next weekend's rescheduled game.
