Women win it late
The Paris Saint-Germain Women's team recorded a 1-0 win in Le Havre on Sunday to to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France.
Away to Ligue 2 outfit Le Havre, Olivier Echouafni's girls had to wait until the final ten minutes to get the all-important goal. Gagnet handled in the box and Katoto scored from the penalty spot, just a week after netting her first senior international goal for France against the USA in this same stadium (0-1, 82'). Sunday's match also saw a Rouge et Bleu debut for new signing Nadim.
The win sees defending champions Paris into the quarter-finals to be played on Sunday 10 February. The draw for the last-8 will be held on Monday 28 January at French Football Federation headquarters in Paris. Next Saturday, 2 February, Paris take on Montpellier in the big match of Week 16 of the Women's D1, at 18:30 at the Stade Jean Bouin.
