No less than 21 players from the Paris Saint-Germain Women’s team were away on national team duty during the international break. Here’s how they got on:
ELISA DE ALMEIDA / SAKINA KARCHAOUI / JADE LE GUILLY / GRIEDGE MBOCK / THINIBA SAMOURA / GRACE GEYORO / MARIE-ANTOINETTE KATOTO - FRANCE
The France national team, that counted seven Parisiennes in its ranks, played two friendly matches. Laurent Bonadei’s side defeated Nigeria 2-1 in Angers on Friday night before going down 4-2 to world champions Spain in Nice on Tuesday.
JACKIE GROENEN / ROMÉE LEUCHTER - NETHERLANDS
Jackie Groenen and Romée Leuchter and the Netherlands also played two friendly matches at home during the international window. Andries Jonker and his players were too strong for China, 4-1, in Rotterdam, before going down 2-1 to Olympic gold medallists, the USA four days mater in La Haye.
MARY EARPS - ENGLAND
Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Mary Earps was also involved in two friendly games on home soil. Sarina Wiegman’s played out a scoreless draw with the USA at Wembley before recording a 1-0 win over Switzerland three days later in Sheffield.
PAULINA DUDEK - POLAND
Paulina Dudek and Poland were involved in a crucial play-off against Austria in Women's European Qualifiers. Poland won the first leg 1-0 in Gdansk and repeated that performance four days later in Vienna. The 2-0 aggregate victory sees Paulina and her compatriots book their place at UEFA Women’s Euro Switzerland 2025!
JENNIFER ECHEGINI - NIGERIA
Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Jennifer Echegini played just the one friendly match during the international break. The Super Falcons went down 2-1 to France and Jennifer’s seven Rouge et Bleu clubmates in Angers.
AGUEISSA DIARRA - MALI
Attacker Agueissa Diarra joined up with Mali for two friendly matches in Morrocco. The Lady Eagles defeated Botswana 3-1 last Saturday before going down 1-0 to the Lionesses of Atlas three days later. Both matches were played in Tétouan.
EVA GAETINO / KORBIN ALBERT - USA
The American duo Eva Gaetino and Korbin Albert had two friendly games in Europe. After their scoreless draw with Mary Earps’ Lionesses, Emma Hayes’ team defeated the Netherlands 2-1 in La Haye.
TARA ELIMBI GILBERT / LAURINA FAZER / MANSSITA TRAORÉ - FRANCE U23
Les Parisiennes Tara Elimbi Gilbert, Laurina Fazer and Manssita Traoré turned out for the France U23 side in two friendly matches. Fabien Lefèvre’s team defeated the Netherlands 1-0 at Clairefontaine last Thursday before going down to a last-minute, 3-2 defeat to Spain four days later in Madrid.
ALYSSA FERNANDES / NAOLIA TRAORÉ - FRANCE U19
The two Paris Saint-Germain youth academy players were involved in UEFA Women’s U19 Euro Poland 2025 with France U19. Les Bleuettes, coached by Philippe Joly, started with a 4-0 win over North Macedonia before trouncing Slovakia 8-0 – including a goal to Naolia Traoré before proving too strong for Portugal, winning 4-0.
