Winning UWCL start for Women's team

The Paris Saint-Germain Women's team recorded a 4-1 win away to St Polten, on Wednesday, in the first leg of their UEFA Women's Champions League round of 32 tie.

Olivier Echouafni's side made the perfect start when Bruun latched onto Paredes' pass to open the scoring insode five minutes (0-1, 4'). On the 20-minute mark, Baltimore crossed for Diani to head home the second (0-2, 20').

Shortly after the hour mark, Dudek fouled Vago in the box and the latter converted the resulting penalty (1-2, 65'). But Katoto restored Paris' two-goal advantage from Diani's assist (1-3, 86'). Wang then set-up Dudek for a half-volley finish to complete the scoring (1-4, 90') and see Les Rouge et Bleu in pole position to qualify for the last-16 ahead of the return leg against St Polten on 27 September at 19:00 at the Stade Jean Bouin.
