The Women's team see off Soyaux

Paris Saint-Germain's Women's team secured a 2-0 win over Soyaux in Saturday's top-flight encounter at the Stade Jean Bouin.

A week after their dramatic 2-1 win over Rodez, Olivier Echouafni's team picked up another victory.

The first half was keenly contested, even if Paris were the more dangerous side, notably through Daiane (18', 36'). After the break, the capital club went in front as Hanna Glas' cross drifted past everyone and into the net (1-0, 59'). Ten minutes later, Diani's chip doubled the hosts' lead (2-0, 70').

It gives the Parisians' provisional hold of first place ahead of Lyon's game with Guingamp on Sunday. Next time out, Grace Geyoro & Co. face a local derby with Paris FC.
