Off the pitch and in front of the camera in Paris

Photographer Joseph Degbadjo gave his artistic touch to shots of the women's team in the streets of the world's most beautiful city.

Joseph Degbadjo was born in Benin in west Africa, and has established himself as one of the world's top fashion photographers. His work has appeared in prestigious publications such as Vogue Italia, Harper’s Bazar, Vogue US or Elle.

The shoot showed the close bond shared by the French international duo Marie-Antoinette Katoto and Kadidiatou Diani, the Canadian Jordyn Huitema, Germany's Sara Dabritz, Nadia Nadim from Denmark, and Chilean goalkeeper Christiane Endler. From breakfast at the Hôtel Tribe in the Batignolles quarter to lunch at the Matsuhisa restaurant close to the Champs Elysées via the banks of the Seine, our Parisians from the four corners of the globe had a day to remember.

"I love Paris, it's a wonderful city," said Nadia Nadim. "I love walking here when I have the time. It's a unique city, uniting fashion, culture and gastronomy. We're really fortunate to live here."

The photos showcase the new Jordan Brand collection, as well as designs by Hugo Boss, Replay and Louis Gabriel Nouchi in majestic settings provided by our principal sponsor, ALL: the Royal Monceau and their more recent addition, the Hôtel Tribe.
