The women's team meet the challenge

Olivier Echouafni's side won 4-1 against Guingamp in Saturday's league game.

After progressing in the Coupe de France against Arras (3-1), the women's team headed to Brittany to face Guingamp. They were soon in front. Katoto's pressing leading to a penalty that was converted by Diani (0-1, 21'). Lawrence then won possession and tried to find Katoto, but when the ball came back to her, the Canadian fired in the second (0-2, 22'). 

The Parisians were in charge and held their opponents at bay until the closing stages when the Breton hosts pulled one back from the penalty spot (1-2, 80'). There was no panic from the Rouge-et-Bleu, though, as Geyoro quickly reestablished their two-goal cushion (1-3, 82')Baltimore and Katoto the played a smart one-two before the Paris number 21 skipped around the goalkeeper to set the seal on a comfortable win (1-4, 90').

Next up: Olympique Lyonnais on 14 March.
