The women's team march on

Olivier Echouafni's squad maintained their winning start to the season with a win at home to Bordeaux on Sunday.

With Lyon having won the day before, Paris Saint-Germain knew they had to respond in kind to keep pace at the top of the table.

They did just that, though it took perseverance against a valiant Bordeaux side who took their time before cracking.

In two first-half minutes, the Rouge-et-Bleu made the difference. Shortly after Shaw had hit the crossbar, Katoto opened the scoring (1-0, 41') after a sublime pass from Nadim before Geyoro broke clear and fired home (2-0, 43').

They maintained control of the game in the second half with Nadim adding a third from the penalty spot (3-0, 69').

The win means Paris Saint-Germain are level at the top with Lyon, and are now eagerly awaiting the draw for the UEFA Champions League Last 16 on Monday.
